I definitely prefer paper statements. I tried electronic for awhile and switched back after three or four months. I don't check my home e-mail every day. The due dates are too easy to miss if the statement is buried in e-mail.

Wow and so true. We get so caught up on the”hype” on the web and we forget that physical content has great value. This is a must view for everyone in the paper based communication industry.

I use both! Electronic calendar at work for my work day schedule and appointments/conference calls/etc. I use a paper calendar (monthly) with plenty of space to write for our home calendar to coordinate our schedules at home for social events, appointments, etc. I mark my out of town business trips on the home calendar too, so my family knows when I will be gone. It works for us.

Every year we send cards to family and close friends. We always include a letter that updates everyone on key events in our lives. Christmas cards for us represent a way to touch our family and friends in a special and personal way.

I purchased recycled paper cards this year. I do usually write a note to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” and to those out of townees a “Missing you. ” I do love receiving cards and especially the ones with a short note!
